If trees could speak, what stories would they tell us? I tried to find trees with a remarkable
history—those connected to historical figures and significant events.

July 20, 1969
For this project, I aimed to create ambiguous images related to the moon landing. My reflective
critique is that photography is partly shaped by the person holding the camera, who expresses
their opinion without using too many words. I tried to sow doubt by placing my images in an
ambiguous setting.

Visible Invisible
The village of Baarle, existing of Baarle-Nassau and Baarle-Hertog, is an enclave village. There
are many visible borders in the village but there are many that you don’t see made up by man.
How do people cope with the borders they have created? This project reflects on both the visible
and invisible borders.

4. Onze vaders
I set out to create a project centered around fatherhood.
After several years of marriage, a new milestone naturally arises: the prospect of having children.
Personally, I do not feel particularly inclined to become a father.
As a response, I embarked on a visual investigation into the concept of fatherhood.
This project serves as a way for me to gradually come to terms with the possibility that I may one day become a father.
